Usage Directions
Yellow Magic™ Cleaner of Flexo UV Inks Coatings & Varnishes Cleans
UV Inks, Coatings & Varnishes from surfaces such as rubber, plastic,
stainless steel alloys, photopolymer plates, Anilox rollers,
cement floors, rugs and other cloth materials.
The Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF) testing on rubber
surfaces found that Yellow Magic caused 0% swelling.
How to clean with Yellow Magic cleaners:
Yellow Magic cleaner may be used as a spray and wipe. Since Yellow
Magic is a 0 for fire hazard, any wipes or rags used with it can be
disposed of as ordinary garbage. Wipes or rags used with Yellow Magic
cleaners are not Hazmat!
Materials may be immersed in Yellow Magic cleaner fro a 1-30 minute period.
Remove parts from the cleaner; gently scrub with a stiff plastic or
brass brush as quickly as possible. Rinse the parts in clear water,
let air dry, or dry with a cloth or paper towel.
Special Note: When cleaning aluminum or aluminum alloy materials,
immerse in Yellow Magic for 1-5 minutes only.
If sonic cleaning equipment is being used with Yellow Magic for parts
cleaning, 2-3 minutes submersion is sufficient for aluminum alloys. If
sonic equipment is sued for Anilox and meter rollers (or any non-aluminum
materials) it will be necessary for these parts to remain in the
cleaner for a longer time.
Yellow Magic cleaners are to be used at 100% strength.
Yellow Magic can be used for other cleaning purposes such as painted
or varnished surfaces. Pre-testing is recommended prior to using on
these surfaces. |
